In locations with high ambient temperatures, ranging from 40-500C, the roof surface acquires a temperature of 55 to 800C. On fixing of INSULLA – Cool Roof tiles the rooftop temperature are lowered by upto 150C to 200C. This provides a lowering of the inner room temperature (ambient temperature) by 60C to 120C. For building using high-energy or HVAC equipment’s, this heat reflective tiles helps in reducing the electricity consumption significantly by 25-40%. Installing INSULLA® tiles, the water resistance level of tiles is less than 7% which is superior when compared to the minimum values set by BIS was 10%.
